These came from the first two rolls of film I shot after I got my Olympus OM-2S for Christmas. B&W is Ilford XP2 400ISO and the color is Fuji Superia 400ASA.
The miata is owned by a buddy of mine. These are both our first cars.
These were taken at Kings Park Psychiatric center on Long Island. Except for the top one, which was taken in front of my grandma’s house and the color ones which were taken in front of my house.
These were just my favorites. If you want to look at the rest, I’m under gojira2014 on Flickr.

Nice :) Impreza coupes are incredibly rare in Australia, it’s weird seeing them on here semi-often

KPPC! Surprised I haven’t seen you around.... If I saw a WRB GC8 I’d probably crash into something. I miss mine. It was a 98 also, but I had the later bumper.

Really? I figured since you’re so close to Japan they’d be a somewhat common sight. Granted the last coupe was made over 16 years ago, and thank you :)

OOOOOOOOOO THAT’S PRETTY! Honestly, I prefer the later bumper but I don’t really need to swap bumpers so I haven’t. How long ago did you have it, and where on the island are you?

Thanks. I traded it in 2011, then he sold it a year or so after. I think to someone in Jersey? I’m in KP.

I did.
but having 2 project cars was problematic, and at the time I chose to keep my civic. but I ponder if that was the right choice daily :D

Yeah! Did Japan get the pedestrian Impreza coupe? Maybe people just don’t bother importing them. For a long time I thought the unicorn 22B was the only coupe they made, before I found out America got heaps of other ones.

Yeah, we got quite a few. Actually the Subaru that got my family in love with the brand was a 1997 Impreza Brighton coupe. The lowest of the low, the most basic model you could get. My dad bought it used in the early 00's because his 76' 911S didn’t really cut it as a dd anymore. Now matter how hard he beat on it, it never gave up. Thus began my family’s love affair with the brand.
Honestly, when I was looking for my first car, I figured I might end up in a Subaru, but never a first gen coupe. I’m glad I did though, I love it to bits.

Excellent. Yes the base model coupe is a well worn path to happiness :)
